Order of Play On the first hole, teeing order is optional. On all subsequent holes, order is determined by the scores on the previous hole, with the lowest score throwing first. If the previous hole was a tie, the scores are to be counted back until the order is resolved. After all the players in the group have teed off, the player farthest from the hole (the away player) throws first. To facilitate flow of play, a player who is not farthest away may play next if the away player consents.
Stance When teeing off, players are allowed a run-up but must not step beyond the tee-box markers until their disc has been released. On subsequent throws (except for putts), a player must have at least one foot within 30cm behind their marker point and should not step beyond it until after their disc has been released. Any throw within 10m of the hole is considered a putt and on these throws no follow-through is allowed.
Penalties One-shot penalties for throws landing in trees and rivers are optional and should be agreed upon before play commences. Any players found to be in violation of the above rules may also be penalised or asked to rethrow.
